      Your Loving Brother
           Ted

Comment:
Ted is the painter, Edmund Travers Pope, who lived, for the latter part of his life, at Bexleyheath, Kent. Will is his elder brother, William Henry Pope, & Hugh is William's son, Hugh Gilmore Pope. William migrated to South Australia in 1882 & never saw his brother again. Hugh's visit probably took place in 1918/19 at the conclusion of his military service during World War I.
