Schooling at Rose Park Primary School & Adelaide High School. Employed initially in the ES&A Bank in Tarlee then as a clerk in the Electricity Trust of SA. After doing night classes, he continurd there for the rest of his working life as a quantity surveyor. Attended the Gartrell Memorial Methodist Church where he taught in the Sunday School & became superintendant. It was also there that he met & married his wife. He enjoyed playing football & tennis &, later in life, took up lawn bowls.
Trev had a 30 year involvment with the public speaking organization known as Rostrum. He became club president & later State President of Rostrum. On his retirement from work in 1991, he joined the Metropolitan Male Voice Choir in which he sang first tenor. He made 2 trips to Europe with the choir which included singing as part of a massed choir in the Royal Albert Hall, London.
